A Genie, a Professor and a fit and healthy Guru took top honours for dramatic presentation, while paper parachutes and numerous architectural designs showcased the investigative and innovative talent of Science Whizz 2009.
|
In its just concluded tenth edition, this annual competition hosted jointly by NIHERST’s National Science Centre and the National Gas Company of Trinidad and Tobago Limited attracted the participation of 121 entrants in three categories: “Illustrate” , “Investigate” and “Innovate”. Some 21 youngsters vied for top honours in the final round of competition, and in the end, top prizes were awarded to 12 lucky participants, representing schools from across Trinidad and Tobago. NIHERST and NGC warmly congratulate all winners and participants as we look forward to another fine round of competition in 2010!
