Innovation Camps 2008

Funology & Explorer

Funology (ages 5-7) and Explorer (ages 8-12) camps are here again!

Registration for camps is in progress and registration forms will be accepted on a first come/first served basis.  Parents MUST print, complete and sign the form and then deliver or mail it to our Woodford Street Office.  The signed forms MUST be received for a space to be saved for the child/children.  Fees will be accepted on the first day of camp.

Spaces are limited to 60 children for the camp at the National Science Centre and 40 for the camp in San Fernando.
 

Dates:

14th-25th July, 2008

4th-15th August 2008

Times:

9am-3pm

Venue:

National Science Centre, D’Abadie

Drop Off:

57 Ana Street, Woodbook by 7:45am,
San Juan Bus Terminal by 8am or
National Science Center between 8am and 8:45am.
NIHERST Staff and Interns will be at all locations to accompany the children.

Pick Up:

3pm at National Science Center
or 3:45pm at San Juan Bus Terminal
or 4:00pm at 57 Ana Street, Woodbrook
NIHERST Staff and Interns will wait with kids until parents arrive.

Cost:

 $200.00

Young Inventors

Young Inventors Camps will be held at NSC and each camp comprise 3 weeks. We are having 2 cycles:

  • 14-31st July

  • 4th-22nd August 2008

Robomania Camps

Robomania Camps will be held at NSC and each camp comprise of 2 weeks. We are having 3 cycles;

  • 14th-25 July

  • 28th July-8th August

  • 11th-22nd August 2008

The camps this year will contain some of our usual science topics but will mostly be dedicated to the ‘Science of the Human Body’ as we continue NIHERST’s theme this year of “Health and Wellness”.

Children are expected to walk with their lunch, snacks, water etc every day as we cannot guarantee places for them to purchase meals during the day. There will be a field trip on the 2nd Wednesday of camp and permission forms with further information on said field trips will be sent to parents during the first week of camp.
