The Forum seeks to:
develop innovative and informal approaches and strategies to strengthen Science & Technology education in the region;
foster cooperation among Caribbean countries in Science & Technology popularisation;
encourage the pursuit of careers in Science & Technology;
promote interaction with regional and international scientists; and
develop lasting friendships with students in other countries.

Sixth Form Science Students: Each school can select and nominate a team of 5 students. A teacher/chaperone must accompany external students. A team does not necessarily have to be from the same school. However, a team must debate on a selected topic.

| Registration Fee |
All participants are required to pay a registration fee of TT$400 / US$65 for local students and TT$650/US$100 for external students. This fee must be paid on or before the time of registration on Sunday 3rd August, 2008. |
| Travel | External participants are required to make their own travel arrangements. Ground transportation will be provided from the airport to the venue and return. Local participants will be required to make their own travel arrangements to and from the venue. |
| Chaperones | Arrangements will be made for chaperones to reside at the residence halls with the students for the entire period of the forum. External participants must be accompanied by a chaperone. |
| Hosts | A core of approximately 20 persons will serve as hosts and will be responsible for assisting participants, presenters, and forum organizers in the day to day running of the forum. |
| Arrival Information | All participants, including chaperones, must arrive at the venue no later than 9:00 am on Sunday 3rd August 2008 for registration. This will be followed by an orientation session scheduled for 1:30 pm at the Canada Hall Common Room, UWI, St. Augustine. |
| Opening Ceremony | The Opening Ceremony is scheduled for Sunday 3rd August at 5:30 pm. All participants must attend the Ceremony. |
| Departure Information | Check out time from the residence halls is 4:00 pm on Sunday 10th August. Transportation to the airport will be provided for Tobago and external participants. |
| Applications | Application forms can be obtained at the
