Go Creative! is a new educational exhibit, aimed at fostering a culture of creativity and innovation in the general population.  It is a multi-faceted exhibit aimed at defining and illustrating the "creative process." It draws upon and captures the experiences of famous creators and inventors throughout history in the various fields of Science and Technology, Music, Art, Fashion, Literature and Industry.

It introduces theories of creativity and presents ideas about how creative thinking and capacity can be stimulated or augmented in individuals in any society. Visitors to the exhibit can view manifestations of human creativity across our local multicultural society in one of the stimulating video presentations.

The exhibit was modelled after a highly successful international exhibit created by LORD, a Canadian company. NIHERST commissioned the company, to modify the exhibit to increase appeal to a local audience. By showcasing some of our nation's creative gems, we hope to honour their contributions and, moreover, inspire visitors – especially our nation's youth – to Go Creative!

The exhibit itself will provide engaging avenues for visitors to explore their own creativity. Visitors can design and build on their ideas in the "Construction Zone". They can get into creativity and express themselves using the various virtual reality programmes. Visitors can test their knowledge of everyday inventions or discover how vision often leads to invention using one of the interactive games.

So come discover what makes people creative, how innovation impacts on our everyday lives and learn how we all can develop our own creative abilities regardless of background or profession.
