NIHERST is the national focal point for several international programmes in science and technology (S&T).  It also supports the national thrust in S&T through regional and global networking and resource mobilisation.  NIHERST is currently engaged in several regional projects with the support of the CCST and the GWP-C, for which it is the secretariat.
